We were asked to pick a photo from a movie, or some other iconic form of media. I chose a scene from Titanic. We took the image and drew it, and then inserted some skeletal anatomy.
We focused on line, and less on value.
Then we were to take that image and try to look at it from a different angle.
We had to insert ourselves as one of the characters from a new and foreshortened viewpoint.
I chose to make myself Jack, who was the artist in the movie. I drew from the point of view of looking up through Rose’s arm, at the sketchbook and at myself as Jack.
