In the summer of 2019 I was commissioned by Gregory Budzban, Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville and Larry Hepler, past President and current Green Chairman at SHCC, Edwardsville, IL to create five paintings for the Sunset Hills Country Club in Edwardsville, Illinois.
The five paintings showcase the course as it was during different periods of time from its opening in 1922, through many changes, to its current state in 2019. The pieces allow golfers who are familiar with the club to gain a deeper understanding of its growth and the history of the course.
